Masque is a Theatre Company that is made up of people with a disability. They have been in existence for more than 15 years and grew to what they are today with the support from a Local Authority Day Centre. They perform two shows a year one in the summer and the other, usually a Panto, around Christmas time. The money generated from ticket sales is used to fund their Productions which are performed at The Mitchell Arts Centre. So come along to see our next production, you wont be disappointed!
Our Christmas Show - Puss in Boots
After a highly successful summer show, which played to two full houses and received standing ovations at both, rehearsals are now in full swing for our Christmas Panto, Puss in Boots – the Masque version, retelling the well loved children’s tale of how a clever, and devious feline helps his young and penniless master grow rich and marry a princess. Promising a towering performance from the evil Baron von Squeezam, played by John Royles, and a delightful portrayal of Puss from Yasmine Aktar, possibly in a cat suit, this show is guaranteed to be a sell–out. Tickets are already going fast, so don’t delay or face disappointment..
